so today i decided to take advantage of the Dove Men+Care Bodywash at CVS, the ad says they were going to be $5 ech. but they were will 2/$6 ($3 ech) there was a BOGO Q and a $1/1 Coupon that made them $1ech
and if you spent $15 on them you got $5 ECB's back... total i bought 8 of these.. so i will not have an excuse to smell funky! .. LOL.. total OOP was $1.37, also grabbed 2x Pringles's on the go's (Scanner Q for $1/1 and they are only a $1 so FREE) .. and i grabbed a Green Bag Tag for a friend.. so yeah good haul!
also, got a $1 ECB for my Green Bag Tag scanning a 4th time! (wasn't counting on that!)

6/26 CVS (while in Richmond)
got my Bayer Advanced from 2 weeks ago.. got to love rain-checks!
Originally i tried to get 1 Lysol no touch and 2x soap refills, but the ECB didn't print, so i ended up returning the soap refills and just got a second dispenser.
Total for all of these would have come to $48 and i only payed $2 cash.

not a whole lot of stuff matching up, but they are doing Breeze Buys (if you buy 10 of the selected items, you get $5 off) so i did kinda take them up on that,
total haul today is
9x boxes of Poptarts
6x ballpark turkey hot dogs pk's
2x KC Masterpiece BBQ sauce (free)
2x Green Giant Broccoli and rice (frozen)
6x Morningstar Farms (veggie burgers)
total before savings = $76.03
total OOP = $15.10 80.1% savings!
in addition to having coupons for everything except the Green Giant Broccoli and rice, i had a $5 Catalina, and i got the Breeze Big Deal ($5) ... all in all not that bad...

so yes, i went to CVS today, on fathers day because i know the longer i wait the more and more they wont have the sale items...
i thought i was going to get the G-U-M Mints, but after everything i figured it was a waste as no one here would actually use them.

I've been asked where i find my Internet Printable coupons, (IP's)
well there are a few places i go to,
of course CVS online coupons come from CVS.com look at the top right hand side it'll say "in-store coupons"
At Target.com scroll down to the bottom on the page, and find the "Target Stores" section, under there you'll see Coupons!
with CVS and Target you can use a store (CVS @CVS, and Target @Target) AND Manufacture coupon on the same item!!
Now for Coupons you can use anywhere.. not store specific ...

these you can actually print 2 coupons per computer, we have 5 Computers here so i could, if i wanted to print 10 of the same coupons.
there is also Savingstar.com, which is a little different. you link your Store savings card to your savingsstar account, and you click on the "coupons" you want, these "coupons" do not come off of your receipt, but are "credited" to your savings star account, and once you get $5's on your account you can recieve your money either by bank transfer, paypal, amazon.com gift card, etc...
With savingsstar, you can use these with your other coupons, because the store doesn't really know that your using Savingsstar.com so if it matches up you can make money!!!

CVS 6/12/11
So I was looking at my email this morning, and saw a "frecycle" post for "Offer: 1- 3 Drawer Plastic Dresser " so i snagged it , yes it's used, yes it's pink, yes.. it's mine... then on my way back home i ended up stopping at 2 different CVS's the first one had my Zyrtec, so i got that ($6.99-$1(Instant savings)-$6.99(Home mailer coupon) = $-1.00 i made a dollar! but i ended up getting a "green bag tag" from CVS, which cost $.99 to get, but you use it with your ECB Card to get $1 ECB for every 4 trips to the store (1 per day) when you use a reuseable shopping bag.. i couldn't pass that up..
the second CVS had my Schick hydro 5 (and refills) but they did NOT have any carts, and when your shopping with a 1yr old you need one.. so on my razor it didn't ring up as a sale price, and i didn't get my ECB.. i'll be going to my store tomorrow to get that sorted..
i did find the Seattle's best coffe late' (in the can, individuals) so i got 5 of them (FOR FREE!)
needless to say 6 transactions today at CVS, total OOP $8 (but i need to get my ECB and sale price on the Schick)...

Super Double savings
So today was super double saving day at Bloom...
it was pretty hectic again, alot of people with binders, and out of stock of alot of stuff i was after, but i stocked up on a few things
ended up going back (3 trips total) but it's all good. but they restocked while i was gone, so i got almost everything on my list for today, from Bloom
i got $131.47 for $23.51 but that included Boca burgers which was NOT on sale.. total from all 4 transactions, i saved 82.12% !!
today i learned that i need to carry my binders with me no matter what, i don't want to make multiple trips next time.
CVS was disappointing tonight, they were sold out on alot of items i wanted to buy, but i ended up getting some Motrin PM and $3 ECB and we'll try it again tomorrow
all in all not a bad day for shopping

Starting it..
My wife likes to tease me now, and call me "the coupon king" but honestly i'm still trying to get my head wrapped around this whole concept, i'd love to start a stockpile of cleaning products, and Health and beauty supplies (HBC).. and stock up the pantry
but i know my wife thinks of this as hording, and i know we don't have the extra cash to spend a lot..
also trying to do all of this couponing with the boys is a bit of a headache!
