8/8 Right Aid, Wal-Mart, and CVS
SO, last night was interesting... I went to the Right Aid on Rt. 17 it’s SUPER nice! Made me think differently about doing the whole “Right Aid Thing”… My only problem was that they didn’t have anything I wanted in stock... I raincheck’d

Then… I stopped at CVS.. I wanted a drink, and I figured if I used my Green Bag Tag at CVS was better than stopping at 7-11. I used the Magic Box, and got a $5ECB for “beauty” purchases, and I got $0.50/1 a new Green Bag Tag.. I’ll attach this one to a bag, or leave it in the car?

8/3/11 Skintimate Shave Cream @ CVS
So tonight I went to CVS with the wife and kids, and this time my wife “window shopped” as I didn’t have my “Pharmacy Binder” with me... I know shame one me!
Now I have a list of stuff to get for her either later tonight, or tomorrow, probably tomorrow so I get another Green Bag Tag scan.
But I was hoping to get the Skintimate Shave Cream (for the wife) from last week that I raincheck’d I ended up stopping at the 24 hour CVS in town, that I hate.. But it was on the way back and they only had 1.. I got my scanner Q’s for the day and left without buying anything. Then we stopped at “My” CVS, and to my surprise they had a full stock of it YAY.. I needed 8 for my plan to work. The rain-check was for the sale price of $2.49, and if you spent $20 or more you got $10ECB’s back so here’s what I did…
8x Skintimate Shave Cream (Reg=$4.69 “Sale ”=$2.49)
Used 7x $1.50/1 and 1x $1/1 IP’s
1x Fabreeze Fabric refresher (Reg=$6.29 Sale =$4.99)
Used 1x $1/1
Used $4 off $20 or more
Used $7.99 ECB
Used $1 ECB
Total = $44.81
Total OOP = $ 0.42 (still using my gift cards!)
Savings = $44.39 or 99.06%
ECB for next trip = $10 ECB for the Skintimate Shave Cream

8/1/11 Double Coupons @ Bloom
went to Bloom today 8/1/11 and got some stuff.. not a great choice today.. but i stocked up on some Thai Kitchen stuff!
18x Thai Kitchen Rice Noodle soups $0.79 Used $1/2 Thai Kitchen IP
8x Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk $1.99 Used $1/2 Thai Kitchen IP
1x Thai Kitchen Pad Thai Sauce $4.57 Used $1/2 Thai Kitchen IP
1x Ovaltine $4.29 Used $1/1 IP
1x Stouffers Saute’s for Two $6.99 Used $1.50/1 IP

Also had a $1 Cat. That doubled too!
I hade 13x of the $1/2 Thai Kitchen and they rang me up for 1 more Noodle soup than I bought, but it’s ok I guess.
At least I know now to pair up a noodle soup with a Coconut milk, and spend $0.79 for both the soup and the coconut milk.. ( I don’t get overages so using it on 2x soups won’t work for me)
Total = $58.89
Total OOP = $17.89
Savings = $41.00 or 69.62%
